Here at Jap Car South Ltd we offer a bespoke service for importing vehicles from Japan to the UK. We are a small family run business with a no-pressure sales approach.

The following services include buying, sourcing, importing, registering and sales.

We specialise in larger MPV's which include Nissan Elgrands and Toyota Alphards and prepare all our vehicles to the highest standards.

Customers can be assured the following is carried out to all the cars supplied or sold from us:

• Genuine warranted mileages
• High auction grade examples
• Supplied with the original auction certificates
• Original export certificates
• English converted export certificates
• HMRC Nova certificates to show all taxes and VAT have been paid here in the UK

We then prepare the vehicles to our standard for retail which includes the following:

• Register the vehicle with the DVLA
• New MOT on every vehicle
• Rear fog light hard wired in with interior switch

Mechanical inspection which includes the following:

• Engine oil and filter service
• Mileage calibration device installed to convert existing Speedo's from km to miles, meaning the car will clock up in miles abs also show the correct "miles per hour" when driving
• Mileage correction done which changes the car's mileage from km to miles
• Full interior and exterior valet
• 3-month in-house warranty

Due to specialising in Nissan Elgrands, we offer the following extra preparation for the new owners:

• Rear catalytic converters de-cored on Nissan Elgrands to stop any premature engine failure
• Have knowledge of Miracast screen mirroring for Elgrands AV screens
• Have knowledge of Apple CarPlay installation service on Series 3 models (These models are extremely rare to find in the UK)
• Have knowledge of providers for getting UK radio channels
